THE EDINBURGH FUND

The Edinburgh Fund is made up entirely of generous donations from Edinburgh alumni and friends around the world. These donations are channelled into small project grants, teaching and research, facilities and scholarships across the University. Money is raised through the annual appeal to graduates every year, the twice-yearly telethon staffed by student callers, and adhoc donations to the University.

Here are some examples of how the generosity of people like you has benefited students and staff this year:

Small Project Grants
Small Project Grants are ‘one-off’ contributions to support unique activities, or to provide ‘start-up’ funds for new initiatives which, if successful, are expected to become self-funding or which can thereafter be supported from other sources.
