FUNDRAISING PROJECTS

The University of Edinburgh Campaign aims to raise £350 million by 2011.  It is the largest campaign to support higher education in Scotland’s history.  The Campaign consists of 33 carefully chosen projects that, together, form a strategy for the future based on an interdisciplinary approach, innovation, the conservation of our heritage, and an investment in the students and academic staff that make up this great institution.

The Campaign’s ambitious goal is firmly rooted in a past that is punctuated by great acts of philanthropy towards The University of Edinburgh.  Of those who support us in this Campaign, many will be alumni who have chosen not only to be a part of the University’s history, but also be a part of its future.  Some will be representatives of larges trusts, foundations and statutory bodies.  All will be people who know the value of education and understand the difference The University of Edinburgh can make to the world in which we live.
