Thank you for visiting here to find out more about the Principal's personal appeal for support for Access Bursaries. It is a matter of concern and regret to all of us at the University that bright and capable students continue to find themselves obliged to turn down a place at Edinburgh due to financial constraints.
We hope that you will join the Principal in making a contribution to the 2010/2011 Access Bursary Fund. Together we can give many hundreds of students the opportunity of a University of Edinburgh education.
Professor Sir Timothy O'Shea, Principal, says:
I am supporting a bursary because I believe that making it possible for the brightest students to benefit from a University of Edinburgh education is a powerful thing I can do to support the University. I hope that you will also be inspired to support. Thank you.
