Talbot Rice Gallery

Talbot Rice Gallery

Back to the Libraries museums collections page.

The Talbot Rice Gallery is the University’s own public art gallery. Situated in the stunning Old College quad, it is a wonderful exhibition space devoted to both contemporary and historical shows.

The Vision

Its vision is to present a distinctive programme of thought-provoking exhibitions with exceptional reach, resonance and quality. It is also committed to developing an extensive programme of interpretation and educational outreach work.

To date, the gallery has seen major exhibitions by artists such as Jamie Shovlin, Paula Rego, Rosemarie Trockel and Alistair Gray.

Your Support

Your support will ensure that the Gallery is able to:

  • 1. Attract more high profile exhibitions
  • 2. Continue innovation in gallery education and public engagement
  • 3. Facilitate access to the University’s historic collections
