The Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research

The Euan MacDonald Centre is a hub of clinical and academic excellence at the University of Edinburgh. It is committed to defeating motor neurone disease through partnership and innovative research.

The Euan MacDonald Centre was established in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2007, by the generosity of MND patient Euan MacDonald and his father, Donald.

The Centre provides:

  • A full spectrum of clinical services for MND patients
  • World-class research into the causes of MND and potential therapies
  • Training for the next generation of clinicians and research leaders
