The University works closely with businesses and organisations from a range of sectors seeking to promote themselves to our students and recruit our graduates. The Corporate Partnership Programme provides students with financial support and valuable work placement opportunities through industrial scholarships, whilst building relations between key student groups and potential employers.
A number of industry giants, as well as smaller companies, are working with the University of Edinburgh to offer the industrial scholarships. These are work-related and include practical initiatives.
Our industrial scholarships award a minimum of £1,000 for each year of an undergraduate programme of study and often involve a paid placement with a company during the summer months. These awards are based solely on academic achievement.
Lusi Juste of the Santander Universities scheme, explains why the company chose to support scholarships at Edinburgh:
The University of Edinburgh is one of the top universities in the world, so we wanted to collaborate with them. Supporting the University is a great way for us to be more involved with the community. It's also a key way for us to contribute to society's welfare.
